Tomorrow’s coming round a hair pin curve in the road

Summer’s almost here, so it seemed like a decent time to jump on the blogging bandwagon. I don’t know if I’ll be keeping this up for too long – while I’m perfectly happy to engage in the voyeurism of reading other people’s blogs, I don’t know if offering up my words to whoever is terribly appealing. At the same time, though, there’s a certain attraction to putting myself on display like this, wondering who’s reading, wondering if anyone’s reading, getting a wee bit of gratification from the knowledge that at least someone might be reading and might be interested.

But what if no one is? It’s like if you take out an ad in the personals and no one responds – are you right back where you began, or are you worse off, knowing that, really, nobody cares?

Oh, the cynicism. So thick you can cut it with a knife. (And I look forward to it being a recurring theme.)

My experience is that reading other peoples’ blogs is more exciting. Kinda like listen to other people’s romantic adventures. Both are safer and require less energy, as I am so, so tired.
Look forward to reading more of your blog.
    Peace out
