Conversations I am looking forward to having tomorrow when my mom comes to help me pack up my apartment:

“It’s a really high quality feather boa, mom. That’s about $50 worth of purple turkey feather, right there. I really can’t sell it in the yard sale because it’s something important to have because you really never know when you’ll need it. Yes, I have had occasions when I’ve just needed it for various important reasons. Um, no, I’m not bringing it to California, if I pack it in a suitcase the feathers will get crushed. Although . . . maybe I’ll just be ultra-amazing and wear it for the flight.”

It’s true…you never know when you might need a feather boa. I’ve had some pretty solid use out of mine.
