Since last we spoke,

I co-hosted a very  successful and awesome conference;

and then I wrote a paper about the Shangri-Las;

and then I became a Master (Mistress?) of Arts in Musicology (aka:  “That’s a field?  Did you make that up?  I thought that was a Prince album.”)
